Jasmin Reese — Interior Designer

If there is one thing that sets Jasmin Reese-designed interiors apart from all other interiors, it is clear to see that it’s absolutely the extraordinary use of color. Once you find that Jasmin Reese, of Chicago-based Jasmin Reese Interiors, has a background in fine arts painting, it’s easy to see that this art form influences itself throughout her signature interior design. It’s also easy to see that Jasmin embraces her projects as canvases ready to be painted.

Jasmin credits clear communication and setting her clients’ expectations for the ultimate goal of the space for helping her design interiors that have been celebrated in local and national magazines and newspapers.

As bold and unique as she is, Jasmin encourages her clients to be comfortable, she does encourage them to consider stepping outside their comfort zone in the name of good design. She considers one of her trademarks is using wallpaper to inform the color palette, quite literally from the top down in many cases.

“There is no guarantee for tomorrow, go as bold you think you can and push it just 10% over. I have had clients whose only regret was not going more bold after living in their new spaces. They often say if they were going to do it again that they ‘would wallpaper that ceiling!’”
