Barrett Oswald— Interior Designer

“When designing a space, we are mindful of a home’s origin. We want our interiors to be natural extensions of their architecture. While architecture itself doesn’t have to dictate a specific direction, it’s important to consider a home’s inherent features and style during the design phase. Very poignantly, art and accessories can truly bring a space to life and complete it. A room without these well-placed details can fall flat, regardless of the furnishings and color.”

Barrett Oswald, interior designer

Barrett Oswald Designs is an award-winning interior design firm that was founded in 2015 by Barrett Oswald and MaryBeth Long. Located in Larchmont, New York, the duo specializes in creating stylish yet realistic homes, all without sacrificing comfort or design. As mothers to their own energetic children and busy families, they intimately understand the importance of balancing character, convenience and functionality to create a lived-in, loved-on home.

Barrett has always had a passion for design with an eye for just the right mix of styles, patterns, and textures.

Her love of personal style has evolved into a love of interior design. Once a teenager who mixed toile wallpaper and band posters in her bedroom, to a graduate of the Fashion Institute in NYC and eventually a stylist of an upscale condominium building, Barrett draws on her unique background and experience to create memorable and inspired spaces for her clients.
